Embed a Video into Your Linkpush
Many of you use videos for backlinks or to drive traffic to your sites so I thought I would share something with you that I learned a few weeks ago and have played around with to make sure it worked properly. There is an easy way to embed your videos into your linkpushes and you can even target the video as your target url.
Backlinking the video’s url will help it in the rankings in the search engines as well as with the searches on the particular site (such as youtube) when someone is searching for that keyword.
The process is pretty simple but you do wnat to make sure that the embed code you get from the video sharing site does nto have any other urls or anchor text with urls… Metacafe does that on occasion so you want to make sure you strip them out before embedding them into your linkpush.
Here is an example of the code to embed directly from Metacafe:

You need to eliminate that part in red or you’ll be giving Metacafe a free backlink.
With Youtube you can use the code as provided without making any adjustment as you can see their code below.

It’s a nice way to backlink a video you are trying to rank and you even have the possibility of someone seeing it and sharing it with others and possibly make the video go viral.
