Google’s New Algorithm Changes

Recently Google announced that they were going to discount the rankings for low quality sites and ones that copy content from other sites as well as increase the rankings of sites that are of higher quality and with original content with their new algorithm changes.

That is good news for those that subscribe to the service we provide because the content that is submitted to the article directories and Web 2.0 properties using our service is original content due to the quality of the spinning process with the best spinner.

If you have good on site SEO with clean unique content and you use your head and don’t do silly things like blast your 3 day old site with Xrumer or Scrape Box google’s new algorithm changes will not have a huge impact on you.

If your backlinks are coming from pages that have unique content on them this will actually affect you in a positive way. Almost every web site has some duplicate content on it as it is virtually impossible to not have some content that is not written the same way somewhere and google’s new algorithm changes is aware of that.

For instance, I bet there are a million sites that have the sentence “Where can I find a cheap laptop?”. That doesn’t make the whole page invalid due to duplicate content nor does it make the page worthless in the eyes of Google. It is a common sentence and there are billions of common statements.

On the other hand if that statement is coupled with 400 other words that are the exact same, google’s new algorithm changes will cause you to have an issue. Worse yet, if that sentence is a part of a 150 – 200 word page then Google will really discount the page and the benefits of having a backlink on a page like that would be essentially worthless.

Google has a process whereby they are constantly making changes in their algorithm and in general we rarely see the adjustments they are making behind the scenes in Mountain View, California and although those changes are subtle they do have an effect on the rankings of many websites. I see some of those changes every now and then while doing research as part of what I do to make our service better as well as to have my own sites maintain their high rankings.

The changes that are made on a regular basis are always going to be happening and they will always have a subtle effect on the rankings for all of our sites. This most recent google algorithm changes has given me some nice benefits on some of my sites as they have moved up in their positions on the first page of Google and one site that I have been working on went from #15 to #7 which is huge as there are 244,000 local monthly searches for that keyword and it is the finance sector which as many of you know generates some real nice revenue per click in adsense.

I would expect this new change to affect sites like Yahoo Answers, Ehow and others that offer a snippet of information as opposed to a page that has four hundred plus words of unique content with google’s new algorithm changes after investigating and seeing the positive movements in Google for my own personal sites as well as linkpushing.net and the keywords that Kevin and I are targeting.

Next week, I will do a case study and post the results as we are going to target a keyword, build an entirely new site around it and backlink it only using our service. I’ll add new content to the site on a regular basis and you will see exactly how I build a site as well as what I do to get the rankings I get in Google and the other search engines.

This will be a nice case study on the benefits of our service as well as give you a pretty good idea of how to develop a website that gets ranked and stays there. The results will be posted on our blog as well as in some of the internet forums.

Thanks for reading this rather lengthy message and we hope all is well with you and your families, especially those of you that are in some of the regions where there is a lot of turmoil.
